More About Me
My Background
Hi there! My name is Toai Cong Nguyen or you can call me Tony, and I’d love to share my story with you. I grew up in Sai Gon, Vietnam, and moved to Moncton, New Brunswick in 2016 and then finish my last two years in high school.

Music has always been a big part of my life. I learned instruments when I was six, beginning with the piano and later picking up the guitar, saxophone, and box drum. I also enjoyed math and studied at a higher level, which helped me appreciate how logical and fun it can be.
During the time in Moncton, New Brunswick, I had opportunity in second semester of the 2023-2024 school year to teach math classes grades 11 & 12 at Bernice MacNaughton High School. I discovered I love helping students face their challenges and find joy in math. After high school, I taught music at home while studying cybersecurity in college and then working towards a Bachelor of Science. Throughout this journey, I realized how much I enjoy teaching and connecting with my students.

Oulton College - Cybersecurity Analysis & System Management
After my highschool graduation, I started to develop passion in computer science field. I enrolled Oulton College to achieve college certificate. I developed skills coding in Linux platform and computer desktop hardware assembles along with wires connection.
2016-2018
Bernice MacNaughton Highschool
In 2016 was my first landing in Canada, Moncton, New Brunsiwck. I started grade 11 until grade 12 at Bernice MacNaughton highschool to finish my highschool diploma.
2006-2015
ABRSM music school
I started learning music theory and piano in 2006, which sparked my passion for playing piano. In 2012, I picked up the guitar and began learning it, too. To improve my sense of rhythm, I also learned the box drum. In 2016, I was introduced to woodwind instruments and quickly grew to love the saxophone, which I still enjoy playing today.
